As Sr. Visual Effects Producer, Chad Hudson serves as the lynchpin between ILM artists and clients. It’s his role to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and with spectacular results, or, as he puts it, “make the impossible, possible.” Since joining the company in 2020, he has applied his talents to a number of upcoming VFX and StageCraft projects.

Previously, Chad was the VP of Production at Rhythm & Hues where he oversaw the studio from a global level. During his tenure at R&H he was able to design and implement short term, near term, and long-term global goals for studio. Additionally, he developed and implemented processes allowing for accurate production tracking on a per shot basis, as well as a global studio level while also working collaboratively with the finance team to evaluate and improve the bidding process for accuracy.

His credits there included the Game of Thrones episode The Dance of Dragons, a 2016 Emmy Award winner for Outstanding Special Visual Effects. He also contributed to The King’s Man, Carnival Row, Lost in Space, Euphoria, Westworld and The Walking Dead in addition to many more.

Chad’s background includes positions with Lionsgate and Universal Pictures, where his credits included Jurassic World and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Parts 1 & 2, and a previous 3-year stint at Rhythm & Hues. During that earlier tenure, he was VFX coordinator on Academy Award-winning Life of PiGrown Ups 2 and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters
