Opening with a slate of films such as Avengers: Age of UltronAnt-ManSpectre, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the new studio immediately rose to the challenge and has been turning out awe-inspiring imagery ever since.

The studio also hosts the U.K. branch of ILM’s renowned global Art Department with Art Director Kevin Jenkins leading the way. As with each of ILM’s studios, the London office is a full-service studio contributing everything from initial concepts through final delivery.

We collaborate with filmmakers on projects from initial concepts through final shot production and delivery.

With award-winning visual effects supervisors, animation supervisors and a deep bench of talent, the studio is able to deliver the highest caliber work on-time and on-budget. The team coordinates as needed with the other global ILM studios on shows while also helming the visual effects work on projects directly.

Careers

If you are passionate about a career in visual effects, and you dream of working on world-class productions at an international studio, make it happen by applying for our internship or graduate programmes at Industrial Light & Magic London. Our emerging talent programmes offer talented artists the chance to learn from the masters in a variety of creative disciplines.

Our graduate programme offers a six month placement to a number of talented students who graduate this year.  This is a paid placement at our London studio, starting in October.  Graduates successfully completing the programme may be offered a junior position at ILM London, depending on the hiring needs of the studio at that time.

Our intern programme offers an eight week internship for current students (or those looking for an opportunity to see if a career in visual effects is for them). All our placements are paid internships, and in addition we will cover the cost of accommodation at a venue within two minutes of our London studio.

Participants will gain valuable experience through training, mentorship and real work experience in a production environment.
